Research Exchange : Exchange Conditions of BVMD(Germany)
Deadline for application
(months in advance)
4
Documents required BEFORE APPLYING PLEASE READ THIS FIRST:
You are about to apply for a scientific research program in which you have the opportunity to work in a group of scientists for a certain period. This brings also some obligations with it that you can read below. If you are looking for a cheap way to make a holiday in Germany, do not apply!!! We are not a travel agency but a students' association that is based on volunteer work only. We are not getting paid for this job but we do it for YOU and all the other applicants only and ask you therefore to respect the following rules and requirements!

By showing a lack of motivation, lack of respect towards the scientific tutors, unwillingness to work during the duration of your exchange or last minute cancellations, you do not only upset people to worked for you for free but you damage the whole program and take this amazing opportunity away from other people who might appreciate it more.

To avoid any misunderstandings:
Travel costs (such as flights), visa costs and health insurance is paid by the participant themself!!!

Generally our local officers provide a social program for exchange students around every month of the year. However, all local representatives work on a voluntary basis which means that the extent of organized social activities will depend on the availability of the local commitee.
